How Oakoryn Began
Oakoryn started in a small workshop tucked away in the misty hills of Yunnan, China. Surrounded by acorns, pinecones, and forgotten gears, we believed every little thing could tell a story.
What started as a hobby — picking up fallen pods in the forest, soldering brass bits from old clocks — became a calling. Each Oakoryn began as a question: what if this little thing had a life of its own?
From pod dolls handcrafted with real botanicals to steampunk miniatures pieced together from reclaimed metalwork — every Oakoryn is one of a kind, made to be loved and kept.

Inside the Workshop
Each Oakoryn passes through a maker's hands many times before leaving the studio. We forage materials from local forests, dry them, hand-paint details, and pair them with reclaimed metalwork.
It's slow. It's deliberate. And every piece is made to outlast trends.
Our materials tell their own story too — acorns gathered in autumn, pinecones from the surrounding hills, brass and copper salvaged from old clocks and watches. Nothing is mass-produced, and that's the point.
